My post secondary education was in Multimedia Production with a focus in web design. I’ve taken many supplemental trainings over the last decade to improve my knowledge and technical skills. Idealism vs Real Life

In the words of Jeff Delaney,

“When you first become a jr developer, your code will look like playdough snakes. 

But, as you progress to senior developer and learn about software design patterns, your code will look like the Sistine Chapel. 

But, when you then progress to principal engineer you’ll realize that no one wants to maintain the Sistine Chapel for some silly website, and you’ll go back to making playdough snakes.”
